Liberty extend Partnership with SPBA

The Southern Peninsula Basketball Association are elated to share the news that Liberty have extended their Partnership with us, re-signing for a further two years after having been involved for 12 months already.

In 2018, Liberty were reaping the benefits of their branding being on all of the VJBL apparel, so much so that they have agreed to increase their Partnership and will now also have their branding on the BigV apparel.  Mark Grange from Liberty in Dromana saw the immediate benefits of being partnered with the SPBA “After being involved personally with SPBA and seeing the number of participants, many of them teenagers, and the amazing support of volunteers, parents, friends and family, when the opportunity arose to extend our major sponsorship, it wasn’t a hard decision to make in getting on board”

As parents of a domestic and rep basketball player whilst also being involved through coaching junior teams, Sarah and Mark’s involvement in the Southern Peninsula Basketball Association extends for 7 years. Sarah and Mark have lived in the area for most of their lives and operating their business locally were keen to take the next step in sponsoring the association and supporting the many volunteers that make sport accessible for local families.

Lucas Allen, Southern Peninsula Basketball Association’s Business Development Manager is over the moon with the announcement that Liberty are growing their Partnership with the SPBA “we have been working tirelessly to ensure we create long lasting, meaningful, purposeful and beneficial Partnerships with local community businesses that are mutually beneficial.  Both Mark and Sarah at Liberty have been amazingly pro-active through our short time together and have some brilliant ideas on how they can assist all of our members as we progress through 2019 and into 2020 and 2021.  This is a true Partnership, where both the SPBA and Liberty will be working together to assist each other with positive outcomes”

Sarah Hudson from Liberty in Dromana shares how they can assist our Members “Sport and volunteers go hand in hand and we know the value of this. Working as Liberty advisers in the mortgage and finance industry, we see the challenges in raising a family and keeping ahead financially. We are able to work with our clients and often reduce their monthly payments and reach their financial goals such as buying a home or investment property, having less worries and more time to enjoy their leisure time.” Hudson also demonstrated her appreciation of what community organisations like the SPBA can offer families on the Peninsula “SPBA is a fantastic organisation, offering our kids a great recreational pathway as well as friendships for both the children and parents. Most of our friends have come from being involved in kid’s sport and we are thrilled to be able to support SPBA for a further 2 years.”
